What's Next?
We believe that the spirits of the saved at death go immediately to be with Christ in heaven; that at His second coming their works will be judged and rewards determined at the Judgment Seat of Christ, that the spirits of the unsaved at death descend immediately into Hades, which holds these spirits until the final day of judgment, at which time their bodies will be raised from the grave, judged, and cast into Hell, the place of final and everlasting punishment.

What's Next? It's a Matter of Life & Death

Life:
     I. Perspective - we are not discouraged (4:16-18)
     II. Confidence - we know we have (5:1,5)
     III. Anticipation - we groan (5:2-3; Romans 8:18-30)
     IV. Boldness - we always (5:6; Philippians 1)
     V. Purpose - we make it our aim (5:9)
     VI. Accountability - we must all appear (5:10; Romans 14:10; 1 Corinthians 3:10-15; Revelation 20:11-15)

Death:
     I. Certainty - the dead (5:12)
     II. All-Inclusive - great & small
     III. Perfect Justice - books were opened
     IV. Finality - the second death

Next Steps:
     > Know the fear of the Lord (5:11a)
     > Persuade others (5:11b)
     > Allow the love of Christ to control (5:14)
