Church Family Living in Light of the Lord's Return

We see throughout the book that God has called us to live in light of His return. He says that we are to increase or abound in love because he is coming, to abstain from sexual immorality because he is coming, and to encourage and build up one another because he is coming.

II. The Example
     A. Paul's conduct (7-10)
     B. Paul's commitment (example to imitate) (willing to work)
III. The Encouragement (13,15)
     A. Don't give up doing what is right
     B. Don't give up speaking what is right
IV. The Entrustment (16-18)
     A. The presence of the Lord
     B. The peace of the Lord (Romans 5:1-5). We enjoy peace when we are rightly related to the will of God.
     C. The genuineness of the servant (he signed it himself)
     D. The grace of the Lord.
Next Steps:
     Develop the habit of biblical 'one-another' soul care! Look up the phrase "one-another" and you'll find a variety of ways that God has called us to care for each other!
     Grow in grace by maturely living in the presence of Christ.
