Christ is the foundation of the church and is the reason for our spiritual bonds.  As we think about the BASICS of church-life, we first come to Hebrews for primary instruction.  The challenge for these new Jewish believers, and us, is first to be firm in our position in Christ.  The reminders of what a believer has in Christ ushers in the challenge and freedom to biblically engage and fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ.  Too often our fellowship centers on the temporal when scripture calls us to engage at a deeper level.
