The most important relationship a disciple of Jesus has is with Jesus. Of all the connections that you have, protect and work at maintaining, your staying connected to Jesus is the most important for your experiencing the productive, joyful, and loving life that he gave his life for you to have. Jesus pauses on their walk through a vineyard to help his disciples and us grasp the importance of our abiding in him.
