The meaning and message of Christmas is one of hope. We celebrate the incredibly good news that a Savior is born who will deliver people from the darkness, oppression and condemnation of their sins. But what about people who hear the message of hope and good news and yet are consistently unresponsive to it? What about those where it seems that even the capacity for responding to God’s good news message is gone, dead, nonexistent?
