The 10th Commandment
"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's."
The want or desire for something is in many ways what drives and defines our lives. The 10th commandment prohibits a misdirected desire that is focused on selfish interests rather than God’s. Jesus explains this command in his sermon on the mount.
