Scripture: Exodus 20:4–6
The first 4 of the 10 commandments teach and describe the relationship between God and people. The first commandment makes it clear that we are not to worship or follow any other god – exclusive loyalty. The second commandment says we must not worship or serve God in a false or wrong way. We must love and serve God as he really is – God will not be anyone’s imaginary friend.
