Who is likely to mistreat you if you are doing good? How likely are you to suffer any kind of harm if you are not doing anything wrong? We do find it somewhat surprising when life pushes back at us for no obvious reason. The answer to the question Peter asks in verse 13 is 'no one'. It seems highly unlikely that someone would do harm or damage to another person for doing something that is good.
