Living Under Imperfect Authority/Marriage so Jesus is Seen

People come to know Jesus as their righteous, saving and humble King both through verbal witness and visual witness.  We are called to both 'proclaim the excellencies of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light' and to conduct ourselves in such a way that those around us 'may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation (2:9-12).'  Peter instructs us to conduct ourselves so that Jesus is seen in our relationships with governing authorities (2:13-17) and our employers or those we are obligated to (2:18-25).  Today we look at a third relationship where our conduct can point people to Jesus--our marriages.
