Living Under Imperfect Authority, Part 1
Scripture: 1 Peter 2:13–2:17
It is hard to imagine the political landscape of our country being any more divided than it is. Events of the past year generate genuine concerns for many regarding how far people are willing to go to get their way, voice their opinion and stand for their rights. To say that it has been an interesting year in the sphere of those who govern us is an understatement. To say that it has been a year of kingdom opportunity would be biblical. How should a follower of Jesus live in such politically confusing times? Is it possible to point others to God through our verbal and visual witness in this divided and hateful political climate?
