Pray Like This

Jesus gives a brief prayer that serves as both a template and a model. A template for us to learn from and shape our praying...pray in this way or manner...pray guided by these values and priorities. A model for us to repeat and pray word for word to express our hearts and align our praying with our master teacher, Jesus. This prayer along with the one recorded in Luke's gospel have served these purposes for the church throughout history.
