I. Fight the good fight...

O Man of God...Flee these things!!

What are these things? (3-5, 9-10)
Flee sinful actions and sinful desires. Ultimately, do we believe that God is enough for us?
     Why do I lie?
     Why do I struggle with doubt and despair?

Pursue:
     Righteousness (horizontal)
     Godliness (vertical) Observable conduct relating to earth and heaven
     Faith
     Love (John 15:9; 3:16) love him more and subsequently love others more.
     Steadfastness (Romans 5:3)
     Gentleness

Fight the good fight for the faith
     1. God has called your name
     2. Look forward to enterinity
     3. Live in light of Christ's faithfulness

II. ...To the honor of God.
Characteristics of God:
     Sovereign
     King of Kings
     Lord of Lords
     Immortal
     Glorious
