Brothers & Sisters, Pray!

Ephesians 6; Colossians 4:3-4; 2 Corinthians 1; 1 Thessalonians 5:25
In short, prayer is vital to ministry!
I. Prayer is elicited! (1-2)
     A. For the Word of the Lord:
         1. To speed ahead
         2. To be honored
     B. For God's servants to be delivered
          1. From the wicked (Acts 18:5-8, 12-17)
          2. From evil
II. Prayer empowered! (3-4)
The Character of God
     1. He is faithful
     2. He will establish you
     3. He will guard you
     4. He will grow you (doing & will do the things we command)
III. Prayer Extended! (5)
For God to direct their hearts:
     A. To the love of God (1 Peter 1:3-9)
     B. To the steadfastness of Christ

Next Steps:
     -Commit to 8 seconds to pray - Lord, cause your Word to run and be glorified in the ministries of our church and in the missions we support.
     -Remember three words - God is faithful!
     - Check the rigging of your heart!
