What is Pleasing to God?

Circumstantially finding God's will instead of going to His Word.
I. Pleasing God in your character.
A. It is God's will for your life.
B. It is God's calling on our life.
II. Pleasing to God in our church.
A. A love that is taught.
B. A love that is demonstrated. (2 Cor 8:10, I Thess 4:10)
C. A love that ought to be growing.
III. Pleasing God in our community.
A. Live calmly (Acts 21:12-14, 1 Tim 2:2).
B. Live responsibly.
C. Live humbly. High value on work.
Why? So that the message of the gospel is clear, not clouded!

* Cultivate more ways to demonstrate love for your church family at Bethel.
* Seek ways to affirm and encourage other believers is Gospel-preaching churches!
* Evaluate your biblical responsibility to care for your own family.
* In light of the coming Day of the Lord, how are we doing in pleasing God today?
