Mike Spencer
April 20, 2026
Mike Spencer and his wife Barb were here recently to speak. In case you may want to refresh yourself or remember what his book or podcasts were, this is being put in our "news" section. Mike serves as the founder and president of Project LifeVoice, a gospel-driven human rights organization that equips and inspires pro-life ambassadors to speak compellingly and to act sacrificially on behalf of the most vulnerable, most abandoned and most oppressed among us; our preborn neighbors targeted by elective abortion.
Mike has a burden to awaken the church to the plight of mothers facing unplanned pregnancies and to the little ones they carry. He travels extensively throughout the United States speaking as the keynote at banquets and conferences and addresses thousands of students each year on high school and university campuses. Mike is a gifted and much sought after communicator who brings a pastor’s heart to the often emotional and divisive issue of abortion in a way that is both gracious and compelling.

Also, he has a book you probably have noticed and maybe even taken a look at, titled Humanly Speaking. He will have some available for a free will donation when he is at Bethel. The book starts out with some admissions of Mike telling us about a couple of very human instances earlier in his life - some of us can probably relate. He moved on to a life of being a Christian and onward to being a soldier. To see a good overview of the book, investigate the Amazon listing. There is a great view of the front and back cover, option to see a sample and a short write up of what the book is about, a recommendation and a little bit about Mike. I also located four podcasts that you can listen to on this subject if interested : Apple or Spotify .
