IMPACT Youth

This year on Wednesdays the youth (grades 6-12) will be working through New Testament Study based on topics such as: media, sports, odd news, technology and world events using Scripture and discussion to address the topics. Studies from the New Testament will range from: the feeding of the 5,000, salvation, glorification, fighting favoritism, and slave versus son. 

The goal is to not just talk about things today, but take the things of today and use them with wisdom and to handle the daily struggles of everyday life. We will take a stroll through life together with Bible stories and how they affect teens daily in a “deep dive” sort of way. Each night will end with an action much like Sunday School, in that there is something for each student to go do. 

We are also focusing on memory verses this year and leadership among the group for those who “step up” and show leadership, engage in discussion with ideas, and offers input in addition to games that will be played. The intent is: growth-through-study, discussion, and to challenge students to engage culture in a biblical way.
