Weep With Those Who Weep

May 24, 2015 Series: Job: making sense of life at the foot of the cross

Scripture: Job 2:11–3:26

Introduction: William causes us to question, "Can a believer struggle with depression?"
I. Job's silent supporters (11-13) They came to salve the person but they could not solve the problem.
     A. Their response
     B. Their resolve
     C. Their respect

II. Job's silence shattered (3:1-26)
     A. Lamenting life (1-10) "unhappy birthday to me", another who bemoaned his birth in Jeremiah 20:14-18
     B. Questioning existence (11-19) So many "Why?" questions.
     C. Longing relief (20-26)
